The term “Thin Blue Line” is believed to be a variation of the original “Thin Red Line”, which refers to a regiment of Scottish Highlanders during the Crimean War.  In 1854, at the Battle of Balaclava, the men of the 93rd Highland Regiment of Foot of the British Army stood their ground against a Russian cavalry charge.  Today, the “Blue Line” refers to our men and women of Law Enforcement who bravely stand as a first line of defense in a nation of Law and Order.  At Sheepdog Java, we honor those brave men and women protecting our communities with “Blue Line Blend”.
